A Successful UK Concrete Show 2019!
The UK Concrete Show is now over for 2019, but we had a great time at the NEC in Birmingham. With the launch of our newest product, the K960 mobile batching plant, and a selection of our finest equipment, we had an inspiring two days meeting people in the construction industry from all over the country.
It was a big year for us this year at the UK Concrete Show as we launched the Kimera K960, our newest product. The K960 is a single-bin mobile batching plant with a 3000kg capacity cement bin and 2,400l capacity water tanks, but the real unique selling point for this equipment is the distinctive weighing system that ensures total accuracy to ±2% precision. The result is an incredibly homogenous product, which is discharged through a single 12” x 9” auger – which can rotate through 180° - at a max output rate of 60m3/hour.
We were not the only ones to get excited over the Kimera K960, however, as Redpath Construction liked it so much they placed an order for one on the stand! Redpath came all the way down from Wooler in Northumberland, where they are adding a new aspect of the industry to their repertoire. Redpath are looking to begin operating in the recycled concrete industry, using the materials in restoration and retaining structures, making them the perfect partners for the K960.
The K960 was joined by several other great pieces of our equipment, including a Turbosol TB40 City Pump Concrete Line Pump. This was the second year that a TB40 joined us on our stand, but it was met with just as much enthusiasm as Hertfordshire concrete pumping company Easypump Concrete Ltd and London firm Builders East London Ltd both bought one each before leaving the NEC. Capable of producing outputs of up to 40m3/hour, Utranazz designed the TB40 with a specially lowered hopper to make it easier to use in conjunction with a volumetric mixer.
Not only did we make three amazing sales, we’ve also got lots of appointments for our sales team and engineers to visit all of the other companies who registered their interest in our equipment. The Sermac 5Z42 truck-mounted concrete pump, for example, was able to show off its spectacular 5-part Z-fold 42m-long boom, and the nimble nature of the T20X Mortar, Screed & Plaster Mixer/Pump definitely caught a few eyes!
